About Mrs. Ann

Mrs. Ann Hung, originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, began her musical journey at the age of five with piano and later added vocal studies at fourteen. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Chinese Culture University and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Education from National Pingtung University. Mrs. Ann spent six years as a board-certified, full-time music teacher in elementary and middle schools in Taiwan before continuing her teaching career in the United States.

In 2006, Mrs. Ann and her family moved to Greenville, North Carolina, where she successfully operated her private piano studio until relocating to Oak Ridge NC in 2024. She has served as Vice President of the Greenville Piano Teachers’ Association and is an active member of both the National Guild of Piano Teachers and the North Carolina Music Teachers Association (NCMTA). With over 26 years of professional experience in piano teaching and choir coaching, Mrs. Ann has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, offering thoughtful, personalized instruction tailored to each student’s unique goals and learning style. Lessons are available in both English and Mandarin (中文).

Mrs. Ann and her husband, Peter, are proud parents of three children—Carolyn, Owen, and Ian—and are excited to begin this new chapter in Oak Ridge and the surrounding community.
